Limao, Island Garden City of Samal, January 30, 2023 -- With the presence of Sheriff Jonathan E. Flores and Sheriff Roel Caedo, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), headed by Project Manager Joweto V. Tulaylay, and the project contractors have started the execution of the Writ of Possession (WOP) issued by the Regional Trial Court.

The road clearing operation on the portions of the identified lots in the Lucas Property in Brgy. Limao, where the Samal Island Davao Connector (SIDC) project will land, is in progress, as well as the posting of the WOP to prove the legality of the act.

Meanwhile, Davao del Norte Governor Edwin Jubajib and the barangay captains were in attendance to show their support for the SIDC's completion. The Philippine National Police-IGACOS headed by Acting COP PLTCOL ROMEO ANGON JR., and the Task Force-IGACOS headed by OIC LTCOL ELIEZER M BEJARIN led the assurance of the security of the premises. (CIO-IGACOS/NovyCreta/Photos:Chan)
