One of the anticipated event of the 2022 Summer Saya sa Isla, the Sand Sculpture Competition successfully occurred on May, 15, 2022 at the Beach Park Kaputian District.

10 contenders showed off their skills at intricately carving their sand sculptures which also exhibit their creativity and originality as an artist. Out of the 10 masterpiece, the judges namely, Mr. Niṅo Sepulvida, Mr. Noel Daquioag, Engr. Guillermo P. Adriatico Jr., declared the masterpiece of the Island Scrapers Group the victor of the competition, bringing home 30, 000 cash prize. Claiming the second place is the ACYS Group bringing home the cash prize worth 20,000 pesos and landing on the third place is the Tinago Artist group bringing home the cash worth 15, 000 pesos. The other participants were not left empty handed as a consolation prize worth 5,000 pesos were given.
