Kaputian Beach Park - Powerful masterpieces were sculpted in the white sands of the Kaputian beach park delicately and intricately by the nine (9) contending teams at the Sand Sculpture Competition 2023.
Each of the masterpiece conveyed the artistic imagination and unique individuality of the participating teams of artist. After six tedious hours, the winners were announced and the winners were hailed.
Declared as 2nd runner-up is team Kaizen taking home a cash prize worth 10, 000 pesos, 1st runner-up is team Tinago artists, bringing home 20,000 pesos and heralded as this year's champion, bagging 30, 000 pesos is team Island Moulders. Aside from the cash prizes, the winners also received a plaque. Meanwhile, other participants were not left empty handed as they received a consolation money amounting to 5,000 pesos.
The aforementioned successful event of the Local Government Unit of IGACOS led by City Mayor Al David T. Uy, through the City Investment and Tourism Office headed by Ms. Jennifer Cariaga is in line with the celebration of the Summer Saya sa Isla.
