Hence, we continuously strive to expand public service delivery through establishment of viable facilities, sustainable programs & projects and efficient outcome based customer services. This is made possible with the proactive participation of our stakeholders, partner agencies and civil society groups geared towards accelerated Economic and Investment opportunities for our people.

    50 SAMA Households, receives free housing units

    National housing authority XI (NHA XI) together with local government of Island Garden City of Samal thru the City Planning and Development office- Housing and Resettlement Division turned over 50 housing units to Sama tribe beneficiaries on February 8,2024 at Amuwawun Bay na Sama, Brgy. Balet, Babak District, Island Garden City of Samal.


    Samaleños flocked at the City Civil Registrar's Office on February 27, 2024 to avail the free birth registration program conducted annually in celebration to the enactment of the Republic Act 3753, otherwise known as Civil Registry Law, on February 27, 1931 and in line with the nearing 26th founding Anniversary of the Island Garden City of Samal.

    Standing as a symbol of hope and resilience, the City Government of Island Garden City of Samal under the leadership of City Mayor Al David T. Uy, along with City Administrator Nieljun C. Esdrelon, City Public Order and Safety Officer Atty. Alan Q. Cabiten, and City Public Safety Office Asst. Dept. Head, Janus D. Rafailes, extended financial assistance worth P500,000.00 each to the Provincial Gov't of Davao Del Norte, Davao de Oro and Davao Oriental on February 24, 2024.

    Land Transportation Office XI - Samal District Office, Law Enforcement Section head, Mr. Bryll Nats M. Molijon and Transport Regulation Officer, Mr. Genesis V. Catahum paid courtesy call to City Mayor Al David T. Uy on February 26, 2024 at the City Mayor's Office, New City Hall.
