on July 28, 2016 at the city's gymnasium. The BuB project, dubbed as Yaman Pinoy, is a joint venture of the Department of Trade and Industry - Davao del Norte Provincial Offoce and the local government unit of IGaCoS.

THE Regional Development Council (RDC) is pushing for a full-blown feasibility study on the construction of the 1.2-kilometer bridge linking Davao City and the Island Garden City of Samal (Igacos), a regional economic official said.

During the groundbreaking ceremonies Saturday, DOT 11 Director Robert Alabado III said that the facility was expected to be completed in four months, and will strengthen the agency’s promotion of the Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS) as one of the best diving destinations in the Philippines.
